After buying my first fixer upper home, I discovered a passion I didn’t even know was waiting for me. I became obsessed with learning, creating, building, and figuring out how to turn ordinary spaces into something beautiful. Even when I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.

In 2023, our home caught on fire, and it pushed our creativity, resilience, and faith to an entirely new level. What could have been just a setback became another chapter in learning how to rebuild, problem-solve, and find beauty in the middle of the chaos.

And honestly? Chaos is kind of my thing.

Most of the time I’m learning as I go, making mistakes, changing the plan, and wondering what I got myself into  but that’s also the magic of DIY. That moment at the end when you look at something you created and think, “Wait… I can’t believe I actually did that.”

That feeling is why I keep going…

I share my projects, my wins, my mistakes, and all the messy moments in between because creating a beautiful home isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being brave enough to try.
